(1) There will be an assembly as the highest body in the university.
(2) The composition of the Assembly shall be as follows:-
(a) Chancellor – Chairman
(B) Vice-Chancellor – Vice-Chancellor
(c) Vice-Chancellor – Member (d) Member, National Planning Commission (Looking after Education, Agriculture and Forestry) – Member
(e) Chairman, University Grants Commission – Member
(f) Vice-Chancellor, Nepal Institute of Science and Technology - Member
(g) One member from among the Vice-Chancellors of other Universities (h) Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology – Member
(i) Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives – Member
(j) Secretary, Ministry of Forests and Land Conservation - Member (k) Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member
(l) Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology – Member
(d) Dean – Member (d) Director – Member
(n) Executive Director, Nepal Agricultural Research Council – Member
(p) Central President of Nepal Professors Association - Member
(Th) ……………………….
(D) Head – Member of the Municipal Executive where the University is situated (d) Director, Curriculum Development Center – Member
(N) Three members including at least one woman from among the persons who have made special contribution in the field of Agriculture, Forestry and Animal Science
(p) Teacher representatives - members representing one person from each faculty (f) President of the University Independent Students Union – Member
(b) Three persons from among educationists, industrialists and donors – members
(b) One member from among the employee representatives (i) Registrar – Member – Secretary
(3) Apart from the ex-officio members mentioned in sub-section (2), the nomination of other members shall be done by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Executive Council.
(4) The term of office of nominated members as per sub-section (2) shall be three years.
(5) If the position of the nominated members becomes vacant for any reason, another person will be nominated for the remaining period after completing the procedure as per sub-section (3).
